Very good hotel in Balingen. As the boss, Ms. Li has everything under control. Asian friendliness comes first. Even late in the evening, we got a room yesterday. Very neat ambience. The hotel's own restaurant also enjoys an excellent reputation in Balingen and the surrounding area. Keep up the good work Ms. Li. We had room 208 at the back. Quiet and big. The young Chinese man is also to be commended. He is always friendly and reads every wish from the guests' eyes. You have a really good Ms. Li. This hotel is highly recommended.

Very good. Really tasty and very nice service

As Balinger we were only eating in the restaurant. We were very impressed with the rump steak garnish on the hot stone, as well as the different tapas! It tasted good all around. Small menu, so everything here focuses on the sophistication of the individual dishes. The service was very courteous and appreciative! We love to come back :-)

We were eating in the pepper mill. Everything was great! A very pleasant and nice atmosphere. Over made friendly staff. Very quality and delicious food! Everything is just right. We would love to come back!

Very attentive and friendly service. To recommend tapas 100% is in no way inferior to the 'original'. Steak on salt stone with grilled vegetable side dishes also very tasty and spicy. Only the dressing of the side salad was not my world, but it is well known that one can argue about taste. For me a very clear recommendation and enrichment of the Balingen gastronomy. Will come back for sure.

Very nice, newly renovated hotel with excellent cuisine. Large, clean and newly renovated rooms with new, very comfortable beds. Breakfast ok overall and perfectly adequate. Was also constantly replenished and immediately replenished. Super fried steaks on hot stone, great tapas and excellent orange crepes with vanilla ice cream, simply ALL WORLD CLASS and very well made. Service, staff very friendly and absolutely competent. Price / performance hotel and restaurant 100%. Pepper mill is an absolute insider tip. We would like to come again!! Keep it up.

Today was a nice surprise to go out for tapas in Balingen. We were five people and we all had tapas. The table was really well "set" and was fun to eat. The various goodies were flavorful and well coordinated. What bothered me a bit is that the menu on the homepage didn't quite match the menu in the restaurant (I was looking forward to a dish that wasn't available). That's why I'm subtracting a star. All in all it was a nice evening and I'll be back and try more goodies.

I ate the beef filet here and it was lovely. For € 24.50 you can not complain. Price performance fits.

Since the change of ownership in 2018 and the change of cooking a few months ago, the restaurant has improved significantly, no shortcomings.

Yesterday we were in the pepper mill and ate different tapas. It was very good and tasty. The service was nice, fun and accommodating The wine was just as we like it. The price performance ratio was quite reasonable. One had the feeling to be appreciated here as a guest🤗. We will definitely come back, as the menu still has a lot of delicious food that will be tasted 👏

So a steakhouse that offers only a steak should not call it that. But the service was great and the tapas were excellent. We'll be back and if it's just for the tapas, if there are not more steak places to choose from. Because of the lack of choice only 3 stars, next time maybe more if there is more choice.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined. We were with the family on Christmas day for lunch and were all very disappointed with the food. It's a pity, because we always liked the pepper mill. We have been here for many years for a visit.

Service very friendly, food good middle class, all got promptly their orders, restaurant with open kitchen, who likes it, for me it had cafeteria, station atmosphere. All in all a 3+, good and nice.

The show kitchen could use a different cast, some insulation would not hurt the whole restaurant. To the name the served food does not really fit - just too lax.

The quality and friendliness has diminished, unfortunately. Woe you should allow yourself to complain about salted chips for children, because the experienced service staff unfortunately can not help, "others want that ..." You can pay anyway, the child gets no substitute, sad
